How AirBill uses AI (and your consent)

Right after your first sign-in, AirBill asks once for your consent to AI processing. This is what the screen covers and what each choice does.

The How AirBill uses AI screen appears once, right after signing in, as long as your consent hasn’t been recorded yet. It also comes before an accountant invitation continues. Once you agree, it doesn’t come back.

The one-time “How AirBill uses AI” screen with the shared-data list, the protection note, the privacy-policy button, and the choices “Agree & continue” and “Don't agree? Sign out”.
The one-time consent screen: what is processed, by whom, and the choice that's yours.

What it says

AirBill names Google Gemini as the AI provider that processes part of your data, and lists what that covers:

  • documents and photos you upload;
  • bank-transaction details, once you connect a bank;
  • your company details and the contact details of your business relations;
  • messages you send in the app chat;
  • emails you forward to your AirBill inbox.

The screen states that this data is processed only to provide AirBill’s features and is not used to train Google’s AI models, and links to the privacy policy so you can read the details before deciding.

Your choice

  • Agree & continue records your consent and takes you on to setup (or your invitation).
  • Don’t agree? Sign out signs you out without recording consent. You can sign in again later and choose then — AirBill’s AI features can’t work without it.

The screen is a one-time gate and can’t be reopened from Settings. The same information stays available in the privacy policy via Profile → Privacy Policy.
