Bank connection expired or stopped

No more transactions coming in? The label on your bank connection tells you exactly what's going on — and what the fix is.

Open Profile → Connections and look under Banking. A connection that needs attention carries a label there; find yours below.

”Connection expired”

The consent you gave your bank has expired — this happens periodically. Tap Reconnect bank and run through your bank’s consent again. Your accounts, transactions, and bookkeeping stay untouched; nothing needs rebuilding.

”Connection disabled”

This connection can’t be renewed. Remove the bank via and add it again with Add bank account. Everything already imported stays in your administration.

”Sync error” on one account

The connection is active but one account isn’t syncing properly. Try a manual sync via . Banks sometimes only allow a fresh sync after a while — if it doesn’t work immediately, try again later in the day.

No label, but still no transactions

  • Check the Sync to AirBill switch per account. Switched-off accounts sit under Show inactive.
  • Look at Last synced under the account to see when your bank was last contacted.
  • Brand-new transactions can take a while before your bank shares them.

Common problems

Reconnecting keeps failing

Complete every step at your bank, including any confirmation in its own app. If it persists, try again later and contact support.

An account is missing after renewing

Check whether that account was part of the consent, and look under Show inactive in case its sync switch is off.
