View and filter your activity

Activity is the working list your bookkeeping runs on: everything you spent and received, with three status cards that double as filters.

Tap the Activity card on your dashboard for the full list of entries — money spent and money received, whether they came in from your bank or from a document you uploaded.

The three cards at the top

  • Resolved — nothing left to do: document and bank transaction matched, deliberately ignored, closed as settled without a business-bank payment, a credited invoice or credit note that’s been dealt with, or a bank entry AirBill settled through classification.
  • Unresolved — none of that applies yet.
  • Flagged — the entry has an open review flag.

Flagged takes precedence: an entry with an open flag counts as flagged and nothing else, so the three buckets never count the same entry twice. Flags aren’t created by your accountant — see Flag an entry for review.

Each card is also a filter. Tap one to narrow the list; tap it again to go back. Only one can be active at a time.

Searching and filtering

Search looks at the counterparty and the description AirBill stored on the entry. Amounts and payment references aren’t searched, so search by who it was rather than for how much. The headline on a row is the clearest label AirBill could find, which isn’t always one of those two fields — if a search comes up short, try the supplier or customer’s plain name.

The filter button opens two groups: Source (Bank Transactions or Documents) and Direction (Debit for money out, Credit for money in). A badge shows how many filters are active, and Clear all resets them.

The three card counts follow your search, source, and direction — but not the card you selected. That’s deliberate: you can see how much is left in the other two buckets without clearing your filter first.

Reading the list

Entries are grouped by month, newest first. Each row shows the counterparty, the amount, and a status icon, plus a paperclip when a document is attached. Short qualifiers name the exact situation: Document Missing, Transaction Missing, Manually resolved, Resolved by AI, Credited, or Credit invoice.

Pull down to refresh, keep scrolling to load older entries, and tap a row to open the entry.

Common problems

Searching an amount finds nothing

Only the counterparty and description are searched. Filter by direction and scan the month instead, or search the name of the shop or customer.

An entry you fixed is still in Unresolved

Pull down to refresh. If it’s still there, open it — something may still be missing, such as the document or the matching payment.

The list looks empty

A card filter or a filter from the sheet is probably still active. Tap the active card again or use Clear all.
